This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, its called Manuel Antonio, we stayed there this past weekend and it was beautiful. It was a different experience for me considering I am not used to iguanas and other creatures running around the beach. But I wish you all could have been there with me.

"Pura Vida" is the Costa Rican saying for "hakuna matata", its pretty common and just plain fun to say!!!!

We all had to cross the little cove to get to the other side of the beach and we looked like a herd of cattle, it was pretty amusing.

I was soo excited I couldn't even open my eyes....or maybe I just blinked :)

I was really tempted to give the monos the banana I took from the hotel, but I didn't.

Yes there really was a deer randomly walking along the beach, like I said this is not Michigan for sure!!!

Don't know what this is but it looked cool and scary at the same time.

We soaked up the sun, it was awesome and we were burnt!!! Crazy Gringos!!!

Dinner after a day at the beach, it was one of the best meals I had since coming here!!!

Here is a video of the Volcano slightly errupting, it was pretty cool considering we were not far away at all. You can hear us all in the background...we were all pretty amazed. Hope you enjoy

Below are some pictures of a strange park we stopped at to look at the interesting shrubbery. It was pretty cool, but someone has WAY too much time on their hands.

Ok.. so this... we think, is a monkey on a bicycle, but I took a picture from the back of him so you can't really tell, but its cool anyway.

Bienvenidos a los "Aguas Calientes"!!! Here are the amazing hot springs they are sooooo beautiful and relaxing.

Notice the dark sky in the background... yes there was an enormous storm while we were in the hot springs but were any of the native worried?... no just us gringos :)

We don't know what it is that we're standing on but it was big and neat and we took a picture of it.

MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! ME GUST LOS MONOS!!!!!! We finally got to see monkeys, and they were soooo cute, and we saw a rare white hawk, but that wasn't that great but I figured I might as well take a picture anyway.

We went on a hike to see the Volcan Arenal better, and climbed through the volcanic rock, it was a hike let me tell ya, but so gorgeous.

Yes this sign does say "Zone of high volcanic risk, enter at your own risk" But seriously who really pays attention to signs anyway?

Yup... I'm a rock climber and I didn't even take lessons.

Here the volcano is pretty much errupting, well ok maybe just a little, the lava is falling but because it is daylight it doesn't look all orange and red, but its still cool.

Hey everyone below is a very small video I took on my camera when Anna and I were on our canopy tour and were on the zip line together, its a little shaky but really what do you expect when I'm literally traveling at 50 mph from a wire, (i really don't know if it was that fast but it sounds good) Love you all, please enjoy and I hope it works for you

YAY we're off to Monteverde and we had a coach bus that had a few TVs just to make the 5-6 hour ride not so strenuous.

We are about to leave for our canopy tour and we were a really excited even though it was 7 en la manana (morning)

Not our best picture I admit but what do ya do... orange just isn't my color.

Ok, here although it is really dark I swear there is a monkey in this tree.

Here I am on the tarzan swing, he asked if I was ready to go I said no and he pushed me so here I am.

This is when we got to the hotel and it was soooo beautiful, I also had to take a pic of our dinner Friday night, It may not look that good but it actually really was and it was really fresh with fresh fruit juice everyday. mmmmmm!!!

Anna, I and several other girls went on a hike through the "Cloud Forest" or rain forest on Sunday and these pictures are not near as amazing as it really was. The hike was pretty intense considering it was pretty much just up the whole way but really amazing. But I didn't see any monkeys this time, pobre yo.

These are of the mountain and the gorgeous view we had on our way down. The pictures don't do it justice. I wish you all could have seen how beautiful it was. And the clouds would roll in and sometimes you couldn't see a thing. WAY COOL!!!

Hola mis padres y mis amigos. Well it is my third full day here in the rain tropics and I am beginning to adjust pretty well to the food and the rain. So far Anna and I have only gotten lost once. It was this morning when we were on our way to La Unviversidad and we had no idea where the bus stop was so needless to say about an hour later we found a taxi and were there only about 1/2 hour late. Pura Vida. (its all good)

Well I miss you all and I put up some pictures of the house we are staying at. Its not too shabby :)
